Overview
In this animated short, a child only known as X is raised without gender norms as part of a social experiment. X is loved by its classmates but despised by adults because no one knows if it is a boy or girl. Based on the book "X, a Fabulous Child's Story" by Lois Gould.

ANNA (kidnapper)
196X. Anna, an enigmatic and attractive professional kidnapper, abducts The Professor during his wedding ceremony on request from one of the latter's former girlfriend. This woman, whose face Anna has never seen, wishes to die with The Professor before he marries. Leaving the church with The Professor on the back seat of her motor-bike, Anna starts on the journey to the fictional city of 'Alpha Paris'.
Madeline at the Ballet
The girls get a chance to perform with a famed ballet master who thinks Madeline is too small to succeed. Madeline's insecurity (and Pepito's teasing) keeps getting in the way of her performance until she is given a pep talk – and a pair of toe shoes – by an accomplished prima ballerina, who convinces Madeline that hard work and courage will help her excel.
